Update Manager Options:
One key feature of OpenEdit is the ability to upgrade your sites as needed.Upgrades will replace the jar files located in "/WEB-INF/lib/" and the html pages in "/WEB-INF/base/projectname" new versions. This means that all of your customizations, which are located in "/projectname" will remain intact. We test every release of OpenEdit with over 200 tests and suggest sites be upgraded often. It is much easier to support sites if you can keep them at the current version.
You can find change logs for each build at "http://dev.openedit.org/anthill/"
Auto Upgrade
- Go to the "Manage Site" link from the "OE Admin Toolbar".
- Click "Install / Upgrade Plugins" from the "Website Features" box.
- From here, you can add or upgrade any of OpenEdit's modules. We recommend you always start with "OpenEdit Editor" since that contains the core OpenEdit classes as well.
